I know, I think I'm still on vacation.

I'm so far behind it's sick.

I will catch up, really I will!!
Between returning from our trip, becoming an aunt again (TODAY!!!!), and chicks being born in kindergarten classrooms, I haven't figured out if I should peep to my new little nephew, or coo to the hatching chicks.

We had a beautiful day today, 50 degrees, I picked up Jackson from school, met up with three of my favorite mom friends, and with 11 children, we walked a nice mile to a park "nearby."

Not interesting in parting ways with each other afterwards, we carried on the party over hot dogs and French fries, Chocolate cake shakes, vanilla shakes and a cold frosty beer from the joint us Chitown broads refer to as Portillo's.

Tomorrow is a last minute surprise birthday party for Gavin, the son of my favorite momfriends. Bdd and I were due for a date night, but it's going to be this instead. Which is fine, we love our next block over friends, the kids love their kids, and it's safe to walk home after a few beers.

They missed us. According to them, they'd drive past our house, just to be reminded of us. I missed their group too.

How ever could we move from here?
I don't know if we could.
But it's been/being discussed.
