Marina Eden

She was born November 7th, the only girl out of all these bumbling little chaps. Cold and situated in a middle southern location, she was taken away.
But taken away before death took her on a long walk to Heaven's gates.
A last chance.
A rescue.
But had she not found us, or rather had Brian not found her, she'd have been faced with that encounter once again.

A young mixture of two, the little ones parents, that met as they ran wild. Sadly, her mother's owners are unable to care for them due to the crunching foreclosure, the story tells itself.

She didn't know any better. She didn't know any different. Just like her new mother, we all make mistakes. She did her best to protect her babies, and I must say she did a fantastic job. So well that Marina still dreams of her at night. Of the closeness she had for the short time that they had. The warmth and scent that her first home provided for her.

Marina will dream curled up in her now forever mommy's lap. 6lbs and 8weeks almost 9, she dreams at night of her short term creator. The one that brought her into the world and allowed her to nurse, allowed her to fit in with the rest of the group, although they were all boys. Allowed her to walk away when her brothers tried to gain up on her, as she was the littlest of them all. Her mother would step in and allow a place for her to stay warm and to eat, I can only give her at least that much in return for creating such a beautiful precious smart little thing.

Her father a shepherd of pure German descent. Her mother one specifictype too, sandy yellow in color, a Lab. Then that encounter, a brief moment of coexistence with some"one" completely nott like her at all. But she accepted him for those sexual moments, lets hope she enjoyed it, and that he wasn't dominating.

There she is now, dreaming away on my couch, because I will allow that as she is my one and only baby girl. She dreams of her short time mom and she dreams of when she was nursing. The sounds that she makes, the sucking of her tongue, it reminds of the periods that I experienced in awe, pain and wonder of when I nursed my three sons for many many months so long ago.

Now she is ours. A gift that we will treasure forever. Her now dad a lover of all things Miami, especially football, and Mr. Dan Marino. Therefore she is Marina.

Eden, what would have been our daughter's name, Eden Grace, had we had a girl. But we decided to honor her with that name because it appears that she is an Old Soul. Plus to me, she is absolutely perfect. She is peaceful, calm and a cuddly baby that hasn't had one poop alert in my home. That is getting to know the hanging bell that is situated on the door that she will learn to ring to let her mom know it's time for her to go outside. She's already had one playdate with a friend named Coco. Coco's mommy makes homemade doggie treats because besides the organic ones, she doesn't like the "store brand" types with all the hidden crap within. So she was given a bag as a welcome to the neighborhood, how sweet is that?

Marina has a cousin, a white poodle named Gipper, another cousin named Sandy, and then a funny introvert cousin named Scout. She will begin puppie school in a few weeks and just like a newborn I am taking her out every 2hours, and 20minutes to the Tee after she eats.

Her bowl is removed from the kitchen after 7pm, which will help her adjust to the time of waking at 1am and 3am and 5am to go out for her duties. Which is surprisingly peaceful for me. Perhaps because it's always about timing. I'm not having anymore children and we are situated-hopefully-where we plan to be for a long while-even if it means one block away, we plan to be HERE.

She cuddles and snuggles and the boys just adore her.
She is our newest family member, Marina Eden and she comes from two parents that briefly Co-Existed.

Please may I introduce, Marina Eden.
My only girl, but my very special one.
Here she is, my Marina Eden:

Crusty, oh my goodness, she is too sweet! Your boys are going to love having a puppy. And bell training is simple, you'll find she'll take to it in no time at all - if our little goober of a puppy can get it, Marina will be a bell-ringing genius!

Congrats! :)
