What Bird Poop Does To Your Mind

He: "A bird shit all over my car!"

She: "hmmmm......"

She: "that's good!"

He: "WHAT???"

She: "That's GOOD, means spring is just around the corner."

Conversations between married couples are never really documented unless it's for therapy purposes.
Have you ever actually thought about the random types of words used between you and your significant other, on a daily basis?

I'd love to make it my goal to one day capture everything that Bigdog and I talk about-
Just a day of captured conversations.
All words.
Be interesting,..I think.

But seriously, who can ACTUALLY express discontentment about bird poop while standing in a heaping mound of snow from another blast of winter?

I'm like the rest of you-I'm over all this snow. I'm ready to move onto the season of Spring.

But stop for a second and think about something with me, while you?

Come on, crustybeef will try her best not to steer you wrong!

We have the fortunate opportunity of having 4 seasons!!!!

How lucky are we? I think very fortunate!! (Remember, I lived in Florida for awhile. Therefore it's much easier for me to appreciate the likes of the seasons now.)

I can have chilly frosty temps for the Christmas/Hanukkah season.

I can have the stillness of the winter world after a snowfall.
I can see leaves change colors in vibrant reds and yellows, while battling the likes of bee's and ants.
I can always count on rain or chilly temperatures for Halloween.
I can feel rain drops on my face while seeing the buds of the trees begin their phase of life.
I can sweat one day, and be chilly the next.
I can stand in a great deal of snow and clean off the bird shit from bigdog's car.

Yes, I'd say I'm the lucky one!

I'm very happy that we have the opportunity to have four seasons.

Unlike the Hurricane and Heat season of the south.
Or the Dry Desert heat and Monsoon season of the southwest.

Yes, I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Welcome to crustybeef~
I am unseasonably proud of our four seasons.

When I ws in New Orleans 5 years ago, a lady at a gift shop mentioined to me that folks down there wish they had the change of seasons we have.

Basking in 75 degree temps on December 23rd, my reply was, "Ma'am, I slog through mud during the change to Spring, sweat through it in Summer, rake it in the Autumn, and shovel it in Winter".

She forced a grin. Yes, I guess the grass is always greener ....
