Everytime I watch this, and I've watched it 4x already, I get that lump, and I cry.
Because it is true.
Because it will be the same here, someday.

If you're just starting out as a parent, live the ordinary moments, as much as you can.

The strangest thing is that each of think our experience is ours alone - but it is the same for every mother...

How perfectly she put all those feelings into words. It brought a tear or two to my eyes too. My two are now 35 and 37 and it only seems like yesterday that they were little.
I'd like to think that I did enjoy all the little moments with them.

With that said, there are many happy wonderful times with them gone too. I love my love with just my husband and me too! :-)

That matched my feelings of late perfectly.

One of my daughters has suddenly discovered life outside of our home and I am struggling to let go. But let go I must as she deserves the freedom to find out about the world and herself. It's hard though, really hard.

I feel like I'm losing my baby girl and in a way I already have. But I am gaining a young woman in her place and it's all good. We will just have a different mother/daughter relationship now.

My other daughter is still a home body and is happy to be my little girl a while longer. Thank God. :)
