Yom Kippur

Just a quick morsel of a posting.
I received this email from a reader, and was asked to pass along this wonderful message.
I'm passing this along to all my readers, regardless of your faith.

And don't worry,
Am I asking you to log on Friday evening?
No.

I'm just showing you that people can CoExist. The following email is just an example-the email is truthful..and I liked the way it was written. Mainly because they included both the Jewish faith, and the Non Jewish faith:

"Hey there!

After checking out your blog, I think I have some post-worthy news for you!

On September 21, JewishTVNetwork will be the first broadband network ever to stream the holiest Jewish prayer, Kol Nidre, live on Yom Kippur directly from the Wilshire Boulevard Temple .

Through
www.JewishTVNetwork.com, Jews across the globe can participate in the High Holiday service even if they can’t make it to synagogue. This first-ever broadcast is bound to bring a global Jewish audience together, reinforcing their sense of community, worship and faith. And for those non-Jews interested in observing the celebration, this event will provide an inside look at the rituals and traditions that color the Jewish experience.

It sounds like your readers may find great interest in this event. Let me know what you think!

Best,
Gabriela

I'll be with my relatives to break fast, but I won't be fasting. We get to gether with a lot of family, but mine is the only one of 'bad Jews' who don't go to temple or fast. We just love being together and eating! 5:00 is the cocktail hour. I love the food of Yom Kippur. Bagels from NY? Awesome. I'll be bringing the tuna salad.
