MUSICAL THURSDAYS

As if you need to get anymore music from my wonderful world of words.

BUT! This is something quite unique! Consider it blasting back to the past with the aid of a juke box.

(No this isn't a pay per post!) My friend Ester sent me this in my email, and I checked it out-how awesome. I clicked on the Diamonds and Pearls DO WOP! I figured you all would enjoy a trip down musical pasts.

I hope you'll get as much happiness out of it as I did!! (and I will continue to get enjoyment out of it!)
This a Jukebox! Obviously!

But it is no ordinary jukebox. It will play all of your favorite songs from 1952 through 1982.

Each year has a scroll or drop down box that shows all the great songs for that year. Most years have over 40 songs. There is even a section at the bottom that allows you to listen to show tunes, TV show themes, Doo Wop and several others.

This is pretty neat...(.and yes it is a free site). Read the rest of this and then click on the site at the bottom. Once you click on a song it will play and when it finishes it automatically plays the next song in the list and continues until it has played all the songs. This is really cool!!! It has a volume control which you should use in conjunction with your computers volume control. One of the best features is that it will play in the background. That means you can be doing other computer work on a different screen.

Pick and play any popular song from 1952 through 1982 or go to the specialty areas. You can't miss them. They are listed in very bright colors. That is for older eyes!!!

(Yes, I confess, even though I was born in 1975, I do think Perry Como is very very easy on the eyes!)

Welcome To Crustybeef~
You Are Welcome!!!!!
Sorry for getting behind on my comments, I do read them all, and love reading them all, and am so happy to see you guys taking the time to leave them. It's been rather busy here in Crustyland. I've been out lurking but someone or something (Like a CHAIR which may be a part three story) interrupts my online time. Frankly I take that as a sign from the upper crust that I need to limit my online time until afternoons while nap time or at night when they're in bed. So I will be out and about between the hours of 1:00-3:15pm as well as early mornings, and anytime after 7pm weekdays. Weekends? Anytime. :)

Thanks guys!

I will definitely be exploring that site. I grew up listening to oldies and they are still some of my favorite songs.

Have a great day!

Since I'm likely to put in Kenny Rogers after listening to Nine inch Nails, I'd say it's say to say that anything goes as far as my musical taste is concerned. :>

And speaking of which, I love it when I come here and "Breathe Me" plays.

It is hard to keep up, isn't it? Sounds like you're doing well. Stop by when you can but you're a busy mom, so we understand.

Very cool jukebox!
