If only they respected themselves and others too, in their class and in their school.
If only they promised to respect the rules in their class and in their school.
If only they promised to respect themselves and others too, in their class and in their school.
If only they promised to do all they can, to try their best and be all that they am.
And actually stick to their promises and follow through.
Somehow that's become lost.
I am not trying to be disrespectful at all to anyone in our government. However, I hate to say it but I truly believe my 6 year old and 4 year old have a better idea of respecting themselves, knowing the Pledge and helping each other out when they can more so then the top dogs with or without golden tickets and parachutes, and all the top officials in our government.
Simple.
To the Point.
Real.
No lies about that.
Consistant.
Sure we get frustrated, but when we do, we have people that we can rely on and trust, to step on in to help!
I don't believe our Government has that anymore.
At all.
That's Our Code.
What's yours?
UPDATE MONDAY OCTOBER 13TH:
Someone made my day today by words that she had written. Words that I don't always see, think or feel, and yet although life isn't about what other people think of you, but how you think of yourself, it's nice to see the "thinks" without a bone of vanity about it. She made my morning, noon and evening, sooon you'll understand why! But until then, Golden Val, THANK YOU!

Agree.
And your six year old plays fair )( read:Lehman), doesnt go grab someone else's shiny bike because they happen to have a prettier backyard. (or oil equivalent).
Or mess up the world. (cant even think of an equivalent)

too stinkin cute!
I vote for it all.
don’t stall
i agree - we all got it as children and then something happened - life and lies and betrayal - sad but true. Maybe that's why we don't want our babies to grow up sometimes.
austie: Lehman, YES! Fair--well, sometimes, depends on whether it's friends or brothers. :)

Hello my beautiful Elizabeth!
Although I am a vegetarian, I have missed the Crustybeef! *:>)
I missed childhood almost completely, but I've seen how words can draw more blood then swords.
Hope that you and the family are well!
Peace,
Prx
Your boys are delicious enough to eat with a spoon and that's a lot of big words for them to remember.
Congrats on the award from Val. You both deserve it.
Just another agreement!
How cute!!!!
Proxima: I offer CrustyTOFUpsuedo beef :) It's remarkable how painful words can be on a person--it stays longer then the flesh of a wound that leaves a small mark.
How are YOU??

Gypsy: The best is that you can see Sol's personality when he has done what he needed to do, and when questioned, grows frustrated. :)
he'll go far.
I know it. :)

RLL: It's refreshing isn't it? Now if only I could get a dog and train them to hum or bark everytime they heard my boys say the pledge---FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS, HERE I COME! :) (just kidding)
Fourth of July bbq for you??

Good stuff...it would be great if one could send those words to those in politics. I hope that you are having a good week.
I saw what Val said about you - it's all true. :)
Love and hugs -
